Monthly fees explained
a. Fully managed website – £19, £29 or £39 per month
This is our standard monthly fee, cost depending on the size of the site. This fee covers you for the complete running of your site including help with content changes, graphics and basic SEO. All fully managed sites we build start on this fee.
b. Fully managed hosting – £15 per month
If you find yourself not contacting us for support this may be the monthly tariff for you. For this fee we will continue to keep the site running smoothly with performance / security updates and recover the site in the unlikely event that something goes wrong. But we will not support you with free content changes and SEO at this price.
c. Hosting only / DIY – £9 per month
Only for the brave. For this fee we provide hosting on a platform specially optimised for WordPress. You will get full control panel access and be completely responsible for the smooth running of your site and recovery should something go wrong.
Our WordPress platform is what is termed “Managed WordPress Hosting” and is one of the best specialist WordPress accounts available. “Managed WordPress Hosting” means backups and tools are included to help manage your site effectively, but this must not be confused a with a fully managed service.
Optional extras many free
Extra pages + £35
We are quite flexible regarding the number of pages provided, please see the pricing matrix for a guide. Additional pages that fall outside the time we have to play with can be tagged on at cost of £35 per page.
SSL certificate – Free
All sites include a free SSL certificate as standard. The secure green padlock increases visitor confidence and search engine trust.
Advanced website development
[Unlikely to be needed by most small businesses.] If your website requires complex or creative development, this typically billed out at between 6 and 12 times the monthly fee.
PayPal buttons – Free
We can add a PayPal button for free if you send us the embed code.
Calendar, booking, chat and widget embeds – Free
We don’t directly provide widgets like booking calendars and chat, but one of the befits of WordPress is the support for almost any 3rd party service via either a plugin or embed code.
The benefit of using a 3rd party service is choice, and if you pick the right one, it will have a good app that allows management from your mobile including receiving push notifications.
Sliders, galleries, videos, social media feeds, web forms, etc – Free
We don’t charge extra for features that should be included as standard. Send us the information / media, we’ll integrate it into the site for free.
Mailboxes – Free
We include an unlimited number of email forwarders or 10GB mailboxes with Webmail access.
Massive mailboxes – £2 per month per 10GB
[Unlikely to be needed by most users.] Our standard mailboxes are already a massive 10GB. Additional space costs £2 per month per 10GB increment. A free alternative is to setup another mailbox for archiving.
Extra domain names – £1 per month
A domain is included with our monthly services. Additional domains can be purchased at £1 per month (to cover our costs). This includes UK domains and common top level domains like .com. Other domains like .builders and .cleaning cost more.
Priority support – from +£35 per month
[Unlikely to be needed by most small businesses.] Our aim is to provide an all-inclusive service, but this is subject to a fair usage policy and must for example meet the minimum wage laws. For businesses who require a higher level of support we provide additional support starting at £35 per month.
By the hour support – Call
Our monthly prices are so reasonable and inclusive you are unlikely to require work by the hour or day rate. Most often the best option is to re-sign at a higher priority rate, with option to reduce the tariff if things slow down.
Basic SEO (search engine optimisation) – Free
Basic on-page SEO is included as part of our monthly service. This involves ensuring page titles, descriptions and content is optimised for key phrases related to your business, based on common sense and insight you give to us.
Progressive SEO – from £99 per month
Receive keyword analysis, keyword monitoring and monthly keyword performance reports. This is a great way to accelerate your ranking, without it breaking the bank. Our keyword analysis gives great ideas for new content and page building. We can help populate the content you (or a copywriter) provides, and this covered by our small monthly fee. You will receive a monthly keyword performance report, to help further fine tune page content.
